This is Erythemis collocata, photographed
near the 91st Avenue Cobble Ponds. These dragonflies are strongly
dimorphic and the males don't look nearly this cool. A small dragonfly,
a bit over 1.5 inches long, they make up for small size by being
very aggressive. They can take other dragonflies.
