Here is my contribution for the Sept 1 Dawn project. I didn't get out in
the evening.
Details of the recording:
Recorded on Sept 1, 2001 @ 6:25am by Simon Squire and Brian Turnbull
Company name: River Forks Research Corp.
Equipment used: Earthsong Bio Kit (Sony MD, two CVX mics on a tripod)
Location of recording: 200 yards north of the Nesbit Trout Pond, about 6
miles west of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Conditions: Clear sky, no wind, temp +10C, humidity about 30%, forested
area with Jackpine trees and sandy soil, a marsh stands about 1/4 mile
away from mics.
We started the Sony MD at 6am and walked 1/4 mile to the marsh. 45
minutes later we returned to see what we had recorded. This particular
sample is of two Canada geese flying over the area while honking.
